  • Access to Justice and Rule of Law

    IPCA department of Access to Justice and Rule of Law: IPCA established this department as separate unit with a mandate to provide pro-bono services including legal clinics, gross violations and abuses of human rights including: abductions, disappearances, detentions, torture, sexual violations, murder, extra-judicial killings, killings, ill-treatment and exploitation of property. It also deals with economic crimes including grand corruption and exploitation of natural or public resources and irregular and illegal acquisition of land. The department covers marginalization of communities and ethnic violence, tensions, crimes of a sexual nature to female victims. The department investigate the context in which, causes and circumstances in which the violations and abuses occurred and inquire into, investigate and provide redress in respect of. The department educate and engage the public on issues around its work.Mr. Ben Jauga works with a team of junior experts at the organization county levels to coordinate implementation of the unit programs.

  • Democracy and Governance

    IPCA department of Democracy and Governance: IPCA Democracy and Governance department is mandated to strengthened, broad-based and sustainable stakeholder engagement in and promotes active citizen participation in democratic governance and reforms .Currently, the department is headed by Mr. Wani Stephen, a senior Lawyer with specialization in Human Rights, and with over five years of experience from Eastern Africa, Central Africa region and South Sudan in particular and he holds, Post graduate diploma in Human Rights and International Law then Bachelor of Law from Makerere University in Uganda. He is a lead trainer on Human Rights and supervisor of all staff under IPCA department of Democracy and Governance.

  • Conflict Mitigation and Peace Building

    IPCA department of Conflict Mitigation and Peace Building: The Conflict Mitigation and Peace building department strive to promote community participation and ownership of various peace building and conflict mitigation interventions and also to advocate for the adoption of a national framework for peace building in South Sudan. The department is headed by Mr. Nelson Sondukole a junior expert in peace building; he holds Bachelor degree in Social Science and Post Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management, Advance certificate in Project Planning and Management.

  • Women Empowerment and Protection

    IPCA Department of Women Empowerment and Protection: IPCA established Women Empowerment and Protection unit to respond to the rampant cases of the GBV in South Sudan and held in building gender equity, IPCA supports the National Ministry of Gender in the development of the National GBV strategy framework and in its implementation in Central Equatoria State, IPCA Women empowerment and Protection unit is led by Ms. Aol Proscovia a senior expert in GBV programming.
