Projects
IPCA operates across South Sudan in regions including Western Equatoria, Central Equatoria, Eastern Equatoria, Jonglei, Western Bahr el Ghazal, and Lakes. Using community-based approaches, IPCA works in partnership with local and international organizations and UN agencies (UNHCR, UNDP, UNESCO and UNICEF) to foster effective local ownership and sustainability across its programs.
Child Protection & Education
IPCA’s Child Protection program seeks to improve access, response and prevention services for children. In particular IPCA’s projects address the issues of family separation and unaccompanied children, tracing, reunification, reintegration and the rights and cases of children affected by armed conflict.
Food Security & Livelihoods
Reducing vulnerability among women, adolescent girls, and youth in South Sudanese communities is the central goal of IPCA’s Food Security and Livelihoods unit. Projects include provision of essential inputs for agriculture and off-farm activities, conducting trainings on improved agriculture techniques, and provision of livelihoods support services.
WASH (Water and Sanitation)
IPCA’s WASH component seeks to improve access to safe clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene practices in South Sudan. The WASH program aims to adopt an integrated approach to addressing the issues of safe clean drinking water, sanitation as well as hygiene and behavioral change in the community.
